My BIO! :)

Birthdate and Place:
I was born on July 3,1995 in San Diego, California at Sharp Mary Berch Hospital.  The unique thing about my birth is that my mom and dad thought they were going to have a little boy from what the doctors months before told them.  The ultrasound was wrong and when my mom went into labor she had me.

Family Members:
My closest family members are Regina Parsons(mother), Kevin Rayburn(father), Darren Parsons(step-father),  Sophia Parsons(sister), Melissa Price(grandmother), and Joe Tarantino(grandfather).  These are the people in my life that are always there for me and that are in my life the most.

School and Education:
I went to Carlton Hills Elementary school in Santee, California from first to fifth grade. I then moved to Tennessee with my dad for middle school in which I attended Portland Middle School for sixth to Eighth grade.  I moved to there because i was struggling in school and needed to try something different.  The move was a big struggle because I was only living with my dad for those three years while the rest of my family was back in California.  Not having my mom with me everyday was really hard for me.  i have currently been going to West Hills High School since freshman year and will soon be graduating.

Hobbies:
In my spare time i like to ride my horse.  I've been riding horses for 7 years and it's a big passion for me.  When I was living in Tennessee with my dad i took karate lessons, which was great for discipline and definitely kept me focused. I retired with a blue belt and great knowledge.

Interest:
My interests are learning Italian, learning more about veterinarians, and opening up my variety of different food.  I'm half Italian so I would like to learn to speak the language because its so interesting.  I want to become a large animal vet, so I would like to learn as much as I can about them.  I have such a passion for animals that it would be a great career for me.  I am very picky with food so I want to try new things and open up my variety.

Activities:
I like to go swimming at the lake with my family, during summer time, when its nice and warm.  It's a great way for the whole family to spend time together.  My grandma has a ranch where all the horses are kept, so its nice to spend time over there and ride the horses.

Anecdotes:
Years ago my family and I went on a desert trip to Glamis.  The trip was going so well and everyone was having a great time.  One morning my mom and I went on a bike ride together.  She went down this steep hill that I was too afraid to go down, but my mom was already way ahead of me so I had to catch up.  I decided to be brave and go for it but my bike caught too much speed.  The front of my bike hit the ground so hard that I hit my helmet against the handle bars and was knocked out for 10 minutes.  When I woke up I was so dizzy and confused, I took off the helmet and blood dripped from my mouth.  My bike was off from when it hit the ground.  I was scared and wanted to find my mom so I tried to start my bike but it wouldn't start.  As I sat on my bike crying this dirt bike speeds by me and a man's voice says, "Are you ok, we saw you crash your bike".  I said that I was fine but from which I was far from.  He said that he would take my to my camp site since my bike wouldn't start.  I said yes in a sulking tone.  When we were close to my camp out of nowhere all these bikes rushed out and I recognized every person on them.  My family was coming to look for me after my mom realized she lost me.  The rest of the trip I sat in the trailer with an ice bag on my mouth.

When I was 8 years old I was bitten in the face by my grandma's pit bull and was rushed to the hospital immediately.  I know that I know that I had to get over 30-40 stitches because of how gruesomely torn up my face was.  The only parts I remember is me being bitten and held down on a stretcher, I don't remember anything between or after surgery.  Today I am left with a scar under my left eye and under my nose.  I would say that I am lucky to be alive and to have my face look the way it does today.  I still love pit bulls to death and currently own one.  I don't think that pit bulls are bad dogs, its mostly on how their raised and the pit bulls personality.  Not all pit bulls are aggressive and are actually loving dogs.

Career:
When I grow up I want to become a large animal veterinarian. I want to work with horses(equines) since I already have some experience with them.  The reason I want this job is because I'm really good with animals and this a great career to get into.  Vets make really good income and help animals at the same time.  I would be really good in this career because I am ready for the commitment I need to put in.  Currently I am in an ROP vet assistant class at West Hills High School and just got a job as a vet assistant at an animal hospital.  I am learning so much about animals that can really benefit me going into college.  When I graduate from West Hills, I will attend Cuyamaca College then transfer to UC Davis to become a successful vet.
